Frogs! From mud and in the dirt…

A local resident – would love to get to know them better!

Frogs! I love them. Traditionally they’re seen as a sign of adaptability and change, but to me they are a symbol of vulnerability, of openness to the environment and to the world. Indicators of pollution and of cleanliness. I have no idea who this little fella is, and I think under all that dirt she is probably a bit more colourful than she appears, but I didn’t really want to disturb her more than I already had done when I caught these snaps.

From above… in this picture you can see a yellow or white stripe down her sides, but there’s a bit too much glare to make out much more.

She was hidden in a pile of debris I was shifting up at the site, so if anyone has more info, please comment below.

The other exciting development is that the plans are coming along for the house – possibly the first frog house in the world! Will share more once things are more concrete (without, you know, any actual concrete!).
